This course is designed for experienced users and will provide participants with useful trouble shooting hints and tips on the most common issues associated with QuickBooks and how to maximize the use of the application. The course will consist of the following modules:
Module 1: File Maintenance
In this module, participants will be introduced to the various options available to help manage your QuickBooks data file and will cover topics including product information, passwords, scheduling backups and data integrity, condensing files, using control keys, customizing the icon bar, setting closing dates, setting up users and passwords, planning and budgeting and using classes.
Module 2- Customer and Vendor Advance Features
This module is designed to provide participants with an overview of creating price levels, memorizing transactions, batching invoices, changing item prices, using the 1099 wizard, sales and use tax adjustments and inventory adjustments.
Module 3- Tricky Transactions and Troubleshooting
This module will cover tricky transactions to include bank reconciliation related issues, unearned revenue, reimbursable expenses, handling payroll when using an outside payroll service, and other special transactions. Participants will also have the opportunity to turn in their specific issues and questions prior to the class for discussion.
No computer needed. The class will be in a computer lab.
Lunch will be provided as part of your registration fee.
