
LIVE TO THE BEAT is a campaign created by The CDC Foundation to share small steps our community can take to take care of our hearts and lower our risk for cardiovascular disease (CVD).
We’ll have:
FITNESS: Get your heart pumping with energizing 15–30-minute fitness classes led by expert instructors.
YOGA : Recenter your body and mind with beginner-friendly yoga sessions—free and open to all levels.
DANCE FITNESS: Move to the rhythm with high-energy dance fitness sessions that make heart health fun.
HEART TALKS: Join small-group discussions led by health and wellness experts, covering a range of topics related to heart health and overall well-being.
COOKING DEMOS: Discover heart-healthy recipes and cooking tips—and enjoy tasty samples (first come, first served).
CHAIR MASSAGES: Unwind with free relaxation massages inside the Zen Zone (first come, first served).
HEALTH SERVICES: Take advantage of free health screenings and consultations provided by health specialists.
LOW PRESSURE EXPO: Explore a wide range of local organizations and businesses offering products and services to support your heart health and self-care journey.
