FREE INFORMATION SESSION The event will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015 from 9:00 until 10:30 am in the auditorium of Atlanta Technical College, located at 1560 Metropolitan Parkway. The event is free and open to all who are interested in a career as a production assistant in the movie industry. The two-day production assistant course will introduce students to: • Production terminology • Crew roles and responsibilities • Production paperwork and jargon • Set and office etiquette – Do's and Don'ts • Production assistant gear and supplies • Where to find production jobs • How to prepare your resume for the film industry • Walkie-talkie and equipment use • Set safety and ethics standards Upcoming course dates: January 24-25, 2015, 9am-6pm January 31-February 1, 2015, 9am-6pm Cost: $199 Participants will be able to select one, two-day session. The course will be taught by James Tripp-Haith, renowned producer, production manager, actor and Directors Guild of America member.
