Founded in 2014\, the Aerotropolis Alliance has been the driving force behind the revitalization of the  area around Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.  The nonprofit membership coalition is united in their commitment to make the Southside a world-class destination for business\, connectivity and living.\n\n \n\nShannon James has served as President & CEO of the Alliance since May 2018.  A native of Albany and graduate of Valdosta State University\, he spent 15 years in the banking   industry.  He was the first African-American  accepted into the Park Avenue Bank Management Trainee Program.  A committed husband and father of three\, Shannon serves on multiple community boards and loves to participate in children\, basketball and arts  community programs.
