DESCRIPTION:Blythe Spirit---Gordon State Theatre is presenting four showings of Blythe Spirit at the Fine Arts Auditorium at 419 College Drive Barnesville. The show synopsis is below: "Charles Condomine"\, a novelist\, and his wife\, "Ruth"\, have invited their friends and a local homicidal spiritualist\, "Madame Arcati"\, for dinner. Much to the surprise of the two couples\, supernatural manifestations make the table tremble\, Madame Arcati falls into a trance\, and Charles hears the voice of Elvira\, his deceased first wife... Hilarity ensues. Gordon State College's production includes a preshow of torch singing from popular music standards of the time\, including Irving Berlin\, Cole Porter and Kurt Weill.
