Volunteers Needed for Disaster Relief Buckets assembly in Jonesboro!
Working with BDI is more than a business partnership; it is an opportunity to illuminate the path for people with differing abilities. Finding community partners who share our passion for an inclusive society is at the core of our mission. Work and employment are the vehicles by which we can provide services and life-changing opportunities to adults with disabilities. BDI employees and community partners play a huge role!
BDI is collaborating with Richt International to assist in the assembling of Disaster Relief Buckets for the Red Cross. These buckets contain PPEs/Supplies needed for first responders all over the world. The goal is to complete 12,000 buckets for distribution in the shortest amount of time possible. We are seeking volunteers to help with this vital project. The location will be at BDI’s Jonesboro location: 221 Stockbridge Rd, Jonesboro, GA 30236. Parking will be on the right side of the building. Walkthrough the back gated area and enter through the warehouse door on the left.
The work’s scope will involve putting 14 different products into a bucket and sealing them for shipment. Starting on November 11th-20th, there are two available shifts; 9 am-12 pm and 1 pm-4 pm with eight volunteers per shift. Mask is required to participate.
