In recognition of Sepsis Awareness Month, Southern Regional Medical Center is hosting a Free education session for the public entitled, “Understanding and Preventing Sepsis." from 6 – 7 p.m. in the hospital’s Education Center.
At the education sessions, participants will not only learn the steps to take to preventing sepsis and how to recognize possible signs and symptoms but will also have the opportunity to ask infection-related questions to Southern Regional’s Infection Preventionalist. Early detection of sepsis and seeking prompt medical care make all the difference in recovery from this infection.

Southern Regional Education Center is located in the hospital on 11 Upper Riverdale Road, Riverdale. Free parking is available. Attendees should park at the far left of the main entrance and enter through the doors at the end of the building. The Ground Floor can be accessed via stairs or an elevator. Session will be held in Room B.
