Mission
To support Georgia-based, small businesses by providing access to the State's purchasing opportunities, create jobs and to provide economic opportunity by providing greater access to education, and business support services.
The Department of Administrative Services (DOAS) State Purchasing Division (SPD) is offering a virtual professional development/learning and networking symposium for small businesses. This event will provide the following opportunities:
Our symposium sessions will be educational in nature, including audience question and answer opportunities with speakers in a virtual platform. Learn how to get a "Piece of the Peach" through our live sessions featuring representatives from our SPD Strategic Sourcing and Contracts Management team. We will focus on the launch of new learning opportunities for small businesses throughout the year, including our new Georgia DOAS Small Business Procurement Readiness Workshops and Georgia DOAS Procurement Connect Informational Sessions.
Through these upcoming workshops and informational sessions, we offer an in-depth look at supplier registration, bid opportunities, how to connect with purchasing professionals, and put your best foot forward in the bidding process. Small business participants will network with other small business attendees and hear directly from SPD, various state entities and other small business partners, plus more!
