Ribbon Cutting - Place of Hope
In 2002, the Place of Hope was founded by Mrs. Christie Odugunwa who had a passion to help those in need. We opened a food bank and clothing bank for residents in Clayton County. For over 15 years, we have had annual health fairs where we cared for over 10,000 patients from our community. With countless volunteers dedicating their time and many organizations in Georgia supporting us, we have came to this very moment of opening our free clinic in Clayton County.
The Place of Hope provides:
1) Affordable health care with a FREE health clinic for individuals without insurance and/or in poverty
2) Food bank for families in need
3) Clothing bank for a dress readiness program
