Lon Langston is a successful business person, who worked for several small and large wholesale produce companies in the Atlanta Metro Area. In 2003, he started his own produce company with no existing customers, facilities, or employees. Within five years, he was selling 1.2 million pounds of fresh produce every week and employing 64 people at two locations. In 2014, he successfully negotiated the sale of his company, to focus on his passion for using Behavioral Economics to help other business people. Currently, Lon is the Vice President of Disruption and leads customer experience training at Heritage Bank. He is also the Founder of Significance Ideation Coaching, which specializes in executive coaching for several confidential and high profile clients.
Lon served on the Clayton County Chamber of Commerce Board for 8 years, including 4 years on the Executive Board and as the Board Chair in 2015. Additionally, Lon served 2 years on the Aerotropolis Board of Directors and 6 terms as president of the Atlanta Produce Dealers Association. Lon is currently the Executive in Residence at the College of Business, on the Foundation Advisory Board, and on the Selection Committee for the new College of Business Dean at Clayton State University. Lon is very active in his church and has served several terms on the Board of Elders.
