DESCRIPTION:Join us for our first SunTrust now Truist Networking Series event of 2020 featuring Shannon James\, President & CEO of Aerotropolis Atlanta Alliance\, and sponsored by Georgia Power.  Founded in 2014\, the Aerotropolis Alliance has been the driving force behind the revitalization of the  area around Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.  The nonprofit membership coalition is united in their commitment to make the Southside a world-class destination for business\, connectivity and living.\n\n \n\nShannon James has served as President & CEO of the Alliance since May 2018.  A native of Albany and graduate of Valdosta State University\, he spent 15 years in the banking   industry.  He was the first African-American  accepted into the Park Avenue Bank Management Trainee Program.  A committed husband and father of three\, Shannon serves on multiple community boards and loves to participate in children\, basketball and arts  community programs.\n\n \n\nWe will also be celebrating the Chamber's 67th birthday!
