DESCRIPTION:Alzheimer's Services Center will launch a third round of Families Food Box Outreach Program September 11th and 18th from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm to support Clayton County Seniors and their caregivers.\n\n\n\n"This third round of Farmers to Seniors Families Food Box Program is a testament to the great work done by vendors in support of American agriculture and the clients living with Alzheimer disease or any other related dementia and assistance for caregivers. It is also a testament that the program is accomplishing what we intended   supporting U.S. farmers and distributors and getting healthy food to our seniors. It's a real trifecta\, which is why we call it a win-win-win\," says Executive Director of Alzheimer's Services Center\, Sylvia Dennis-Wray. "The efforts of everyone involved form the backbone of the Farmers to Families Food Boxes Program and its goal to help fulfill a healthier choice for all of our senior communities."\n\n\n\n"The Families Food Box Program has created a tangible link between hungry families and struggling farmers impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic\," says\, Vice Chairman\, Commissioner Clayton County DeMont Davis.
